Zina Richardson, Conductor

Since moving to the Denver area in 1977 to study conducting with Antonio Brico, Ms. Richardson has been active as a conductor, educator, percussionist and adjudicator in the Denver Metro Area.  She has served as Music Director and Conductor of the Rocky Mountain Symphony, Associate Conductor of the Brico Symphony, and the Founding Conductor of the Mostly Strauss Orchestra.  She has appeared as a guest conductor with orchestras, bands and choruses including: the Timberline Symphony, the Great River Symphony and the American Symphony Orchestras in Wisconsin, the Skyline League Honor Band, the Boulder Valley Honor Band, and the Arkansas Valley Honor Band.  She is also proud to have been on the Music Education Faculty of the Boulder Valley Public Schools from 1978 to 2006.
